Today on 31st December 2015, the eve of the 1st of January 2016, I would like to share my opinion on what lies ahead and a few other thoughts that come to mind.
2015 has undoubtedly been an interesting year for zarood.
While we re-launched our website in the beginning of the last quarter in October, we also had the good fortune of meeting some wonderful social cause leaders with whom we have aligned and are helping to further their cause. Mrs. Shanti Auluk (Muskaan), Mrs. Shabnam Hashmi (Dhaani) are two such persons who we met and who have dedicated their lives to the cause being promoted by them.
It was an honor to partner with them and lend a small helping hand to their effort.
The year gone by has taught us several lessons. Our first on-the-ground experience at the IASOWA Carnival in Delhi got tremendous support from friends and patrons alike. This has strengthened our belief and determination to continue doing what we are doing.
We now look forward to participate at the Kala Ghoda Art Festival in Mumbai in February 2016 followed with several other interesting events schedules later in February and March 2016.
2015 was a year of revelation for our core team. We realized a few anomalies in our social cause work and have since then taken corrective action to ensure that the mistakes we made in 2015 are not repeated in 2016 and that we build on the momentum that we have built this year.
2016 hold promise for us.
We are very hopeful that given the progress we have made in 2015, we are now set to achieve newer milestones. We are quite excited about newer social cause partnerships and being able to add value to the lives of those associated with us. We are very confident that given the support and response that we have received in 2015, we have only one way to go and that is forward.
2016 numerically adds up to number 9, which promises hope, humanitarian, warmth, responsible. I really wish that these be the flavour of the year for everyone and we are all blessed with good health and blessings.
Lastly, I sincerely hope that the world becomes a more compassionate place, an environment that is peaceful where people agree to work together and not against each other. Today I sincerely pray that the dreams and aspirations of all are fulfilled.
All the best
